The Penn-owned resort took to X Wednesday with images of the new tower, stating it was \u201cexcited\u201d to announce the earlier-than-anticipated public opening in December:<\/p>\n Grand Opening Announcement: As of December 1st, we will be opening our second hotel tower to the public! We are excited to unveil our $206 million expansion months earlier than expected. <\/p>\n Our new hotel tower will double our capacity, bringing our property to a total of 765 rooms\u2026 pic.twitter.com\/CEEeF717He<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 M Resort Spa Casino (@MResort) September 3, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n According to a Penn news release, M Resort\u2019s meeting space will also increase with a new 15,000 sq-ft ballroom, with the overall additions creating 120 new jobs at the Henderson hotel-casino.<\/p>\n The valley\u2019s southernmost resort also revealed a partnership with the group owned by celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse to open a Meril restaurant in the new tower.<\/p>\n Meril is Lagasse\u2019s popular signature restaurant in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, with the M Resort set to become the franchise\u2019s second location.\u00a0<\/p>\n According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal<\/em>, the early opening of the tower also gives the Penn property the chance to attract guests visiting for the National Finals Rodeo<\/a>, the Consumer Electronics Show, and New Year\u2019s Eve.<\/p>\n M Resort is the NFL franchise\u2019s official team hotel<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n The M tower expansion broke ground in December 2023, an event attended by Nevada councilors and featuring heavy Las Vegas Raiders branding <\/a>as the M Resort is the NFL franchise\u2019s official team hotel.\u00a0<\/p>\n Penn Executive Vice President of Operations Todd George in the Grand Opening press release<\/a> highlighted M Resort\u2019s \u201chighly successful\u201d partnership with the Raiders. George said together with the Raiders connection and the upgrade,\u00a0\u201cM Resort is becoming the premier destination for visitors and convention attendees from across the country.\u201d<\/p>\n President and CEO Jay Snowden meanwhile stated the upgrade offers business groups \u201cmuch needed additional room capacity\u201d while also addressing the \u201cstrong demand of the Henderson locals market.\u201d<\/p>\n Snowden also used the M Resort announcement to get in a plug about \u201cour recent grand opening of the new Hollywood Casino Joliet in Illinois.\u201d<\/p>\n The new tower will be the second of four major Penn expansions, with Joilet being the first.
