Just a few days after it was announced that it would carry over its IPT Summer in Dublin \u20ac100,000
($116,000) promotion to the much-anticipated IPT Killarney, WPT Global has revealed that the IPO Dublin will also dangle the prospect of a \u20ac100,000 check, with a total of 20 online qualifiers eligible to win the bonus.<\/p>\n

Small buy-in, big field<\/h2>\n

The IPO is one of Europe\u2019s longest-running and most established poker events, and between October 21 and October 27, it will celebrate its 19th edition in Dublin\u2019s Bonnington Hotel. Past winners include Ciaran Cooney, Jamie Cusack, Tom Brady, and last year\u2019s champion, Vitalijs Polukejevs, who took home \u20ac34,630 ($40,295).<\/p>\n

The concept has always been to provide the Irish poker community with a small buy-in, big field, well-structured event, bridging the gap between pub poker\/casino nightly games and the mid-stakes poker circuit. O\u2019Hara is particularly proud of how the event has survived and flourished in a more competitive marketplace.<\/p>\n

Jam-packed schedule<\/h2>\n

The schedule is jam-packed, including a \u20ac550 ($640) High Roller and \u20ac1,100 ($1,280) buy-in \u20ac30,000 ($34,907) guaranteed Super High Roller, with O\u2019Hara also squeezing in three new tournaments: a two-day \u20ac200 ($233) Seniors (50+) Event, a \u20ac200 8-Game tournament, and a \u20ac200 Omaha tournament.<\/p>\n

The buy-in for the Main Event this year is \u20ac350 ($407) and for that, there is an anticipated field of over 1,000 runners. There will be six live Day 1 flights plus an online Day 1 for those looking to bag a stack prior to their arrival in Dublin. That will be played on WPT Global on August 31.<\/p>\n

Satellites for the IPO will be on Sundays on WPT Global with super-satellites running \u2018round the clock. According to WPT Global\u2019s Irish marketing head Cameron Soane: \u201c20 Golden Tickets will be available to be won via WPT Global satellites. If one of those Golden Ticket holders wins the IPO Main Event, WPT Global will award them an additional \u20ac100,000\u201d.<\/p>\n
