While active customer account levels are still relatively the same, operators believe that bigger spenders have transitioned to offshore gambling sites that don\u2019t carry deposit limits.<\/p>\n<p>Lawmakers in the Netherlands also decided to increase the tax on GGR by 4% starting January 1, 2025. Recent figures suggested that this change will lead to a \u20ac200m ($231m) shortfall for the year.
